Unusual attire wins accolades & prizes and adds up to fun

New President, Cherie Duhaime wins prize for most unusual sunglasses

For half a century, the Saugeen Shores (Southampton) Chambettes has quietly worked behind the scenes, raising money for a wide variety of local community projects.

Today, the group of approximately 50 women continue the tradition of helping their community through fundraising efforts and volunteering at a wide variety of events.

At the group's annual meeting on Tuesday, May 5, they elected their new 2009 board and presented some very unusual prizes, including - cutest flip flops, most unusual sun glasses, most creative outfit, wildest sunglasses, the complete combo outfit, the most original, etc.

The group is not only about fundraising, it's about fun!
