Bruce County Museum searching for Military photos |

The public is being asked to help preserve Bruce County History
for future generations by bringing military photos with Bruce County
connections to local Legion Photo Days. The photos will then be
copied for preservation in the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre

65 1st Ave. South, Chesley Wednesday, December 2nd - Port Elgin Legion Branch 340 630 Green Street, Port Elgin Bruce County’s residents can help to preserve history by having their photos copied by Bruce County Archives Staff and the Bruce County Historical Society members at the local legions. "The Archives is climate controlled," says Museum Curator, Barbara Ribey, "and retains personal diaries, newspaper articles, County documents, photograph and letters from the people of the Bruce in addition to copies of all official documents. The Archives contains the history of the region and is very important for future generations." |
