Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is hosting an Alzheimer Coffee Break on September 26 and 27 from 10am to 4:30pm, and on September 28 from 1p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This is the second year that the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre has participated in the Coffee Break program and is proud to be a part of this very important effort. Alzheimer Disease touches virtually everyone in some fashion; personally, through a family member, a friend or neighbour, or a co-worker. By supporting our Alzheimer Coffee Break you will be making a difference right here in our community.

Alzheimer Coffee Breaks are held across Canada to create awareness of Alzheimer Disease and to raise money to support the work of local Alzheimer Societies. Last year Coffee Breaks across Grey-Bruce raised $34,000, part of more than $1,000,000 raised across Canada.

Proceeds from the Coffee Break at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre will go to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce to provide education and support for persons with Alzheimer disease and related dementias, and to their families and caregivers.

Please join us for a coffee break on September 26, 27 and 28, 2008 at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre, 33 Victoria Street North, Southampton.
