A cosy spot to work on your laptop
If you're looking for a comfortable, cozy place to have lunch, enjoy
a coffee, read a book, check E-mail or do some work on your own
laptop, stop in at Books and Beans on Queen Street, Kincardine.
The newly-renovated coffee house provides a warm, inviting
atmosphere, with private nooks for you to relax with a specialty
beverage, visit with friends or type up a quick report on the
computer. Bring your own laptop or use one of the two Internet cafe
centres available.
Pick up a book off the shelf and find a quiet, secluded spot to
read.
Try something from the varied and healthy menu, which includes
portion sizes for those on the Herbal Magic meal plan, and promotes
locally-grown produce and uses only fair trade coffee. There are
all-day specials and lunch specials available.
Proprietor Rob Millar invites you to enjoy your meal at the back of
the cafe where you can take in a fabulous view of Lake Huron and the
Kincardine Harbour.
Books and Beans features an early bird special, from 7:30-8 a.m.,
when you can get the featured coffee of the day at half-price.
Otherwise, choose from 21 different specialty hot drinks, and 18
specialty cold drinks, prepared by one of the six full-time and
part-time staff employed at the shop.
Take the time to relax at Books and Beans, 728 Queen St., Kincardine,
