The Bervie Women's Institute is hosting its annual bake sale and tea on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2-4 p.m. at the Bervie WI Hall in downtown Bervie.

Besides the delicious home-baking, featuring heritage pies and jellies, there will be a touch-and-take table for people to pay a fee and take home whatever package they touch.

Once you've purchased baked goods to take home, relax with a cup of coffee or tea and a delightful variety of fruit loaves, made from locally-grown products, served with platters of cheese.

Your admittance ticket could also win you the grand door prize of a print of a lighthouse by Betty Anne Thompson.
