August Skies Home Decor officially opened in Port Elgin on Saturday, August 1st.

Partners Carol McKnight and Carol Brown have each brought their own unique flair to the new business and what it offers in the way of home decor items. "We really wanted to offer things that were a little different and out of the ordinary," say the twosome. The store offers unusual items for every room inside and garden rooms outside.

Mayor Mike Smith and Saugeen Shores Chamber of President, Gary Brown cut the official ribbon Saturday morning welcoming the new business to Port Elgin's downtown core.
