Hundreds of visitors had the opportunity to see the works of local talented artists

Each year, Jenny Amy's Chantry Breezes Bed & Breakfast opens its yard, and fence, to local artists at the annual 'Art on the Fence' event.

This year, as in the past, the weather cooperated as hundreds of people took the opportunity to view the many and various artists from the Shoreline Artists group. Art literally hung everywhere ... on the wrought-iron fence, in the gazebo and on the back veranda.

While many of the artists, who displayed their work, paint in every medium, there were also those whose creativity leant itself to jewelery creations, photography and pottery. Visitors also had the chance to stroll through the grounds and garden of Chantry Breezes which was recently chosen to be on the 2009 Garden Tour.

The event has become one of the most popular venues for local artists to exhibit their work to both the local and visiting public during the summer.
