Serda pointed out that sometimes people view disability as a negative, when really it is a need. "There are those who simply can't drive anymore due to age, there are those who are limited visually and can't drive, there are the hearing impaired, there are all kinds of disability where transportation is needed to give people independence."

A web page has also been developed on the Saugeen Shores web-site information people of the Committee's objectives and also where residents can identify their need for transporation or they can email: saugeenshorestransportation@gmail.com "We urge anyone who feels this would be a worthwhile addition to the community," to contact us through one of these methods and the sooner the better," says McLaren.
