Technology National Nuclear Security practices in Canada

One of the significant areas in and around atomic power plants is security. 

On October 30, 2015 a team of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) experts presented findings to the CNSC of a two-week International Physical Protection Advisory Service (IPPAS) mission to review national nuclear security practices in Canada.

The IAEA IPPAS team concluded that Canada conducts strong and sustainable nuclear security activities and identified a number of good practices in the national nuclear security regime.
