Renowned local musician, Bill 'Willy' Mulholland died suddenly on February 3rd while wintering in Florida.

Willy was known for his enthusiasm and zest when it came to music and entertained with his down-home style of fiddling, performing with many bands and guest artists.

'Bill Mulholland of Southampton at the age of 67. Loving husband, partner and best friend of Barb (nee McGibbon). He was immensely proud of his children, Christalea (Brad) and Matt (Melissa) and his grandchildren, Aimee, Logan, Beccam and Carrstyn. Predeceased by his parents, Bert and Flossie Mulholland. Survived by his sisters, Pat (Bev) and Bonnie (John), his mother-in-law, Audrey McGibbon, his brother-in-laws, Don, Ken, Jack and Dan, his sister-in-law Tanya, and their families.'

Willy will be remembered for his smile, his laugh and for living life to the fullest. He loved his friends, his family and his music. His fiddle playing will be missed.

A casual come and go gathering to celebrate the life of Bill Mulholland will be held at the Southampton Town Hall, on Saturday February 14, 2015 from 2-5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.

His fiddle playing will be missed
