The weather co-operated as about 100 people came out to the Tiverton Cenotaph to remember fallen soldiers and veterans at the Tiverton Remembrance Day service, Tuesday.
Rev. Jeanette Fleischer of the Tiverton Presbyterian Church gave the call to worship, followed by "O Canada."
Laszlo Santha of the Tiverton Firefighters Association read In Flanders Fields, and Bob Wilson announced the laying of the wreaths.
Dave Fritz brought his 1942 Second World War Universal Carrier and a 1945 Deuce and Half GMC.
Afterwards, everyone was invited to the Tiverton Baptist Church for lunch and a time of fellowship.
When leaving the Cenotaph, people placed their poppies on the cross placed at the entrance. A special thanks to the flagbearers representing the Tiverton Firefighters, and all who participated in this Remembrance Day service.
