Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church Fall Supper will be held Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre. Come out and enjoy an old-fashioned turkey supper with all the trimmings and lots of pie for dessert. Cost is $15 each for adults, $5 each for children, ages 12 and under; and preschoolers eat for free. 

The Tiverton and District Lions Club Christmas Bazaar will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre, Tiverton. Free Admission. Browse through the tables of our many vendors!  Lunch available. Santa will visit from 10-10:30 a.m. Contact Lion Rosemary at 519-368-7789, for more information.

Crafts and Stuff Country Store in Tiverton is having a Christmas Open House from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You must come out and try their fudge. Itís the best! Check out their Facebook page for great Christmas gifts.

The Legion Remembrance Day service will be held Sunday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. at the Tiverton Cenotaph.

"Feet and His Country Outlaws" will perform at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre, Tiverton, Friday, Nov. 21, from 8 p.m. to Midnight. Tickets available at The King's Pearl in Tiverton or at Chester Prints/Sears in Kincardine.

The fifth annual Christmas Tree-Lighting will occur Friday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m., at St. Andrews Park, Tiverton. Santa Claus is invited to join the children (of all ages) to light the Christmas tree together while we all sing Christmas carols and enjoy hot chocolate! Itís a wonderful night to spend with friends and neighbours. If you are interested in donating toward the event, contact Lisa Robertson Taylor at 519-368-2427 or Heather Convay at 519-368-7518.

The 'Younger and Much Better Looking' Card Group met at the Convay residence for their first match of the season. High Man went to Michael George Quipper and Low Man went to Chris Smith's double, Julia Convay. High Lady went to Lori Tequila Templeton and Low Lady went to Julia's date, Kate Smith. Great job!

Celebrations - birthday wishes go out this week to Keith Virtue, Sandy Parry, Elaine Gossell and Donna Hendry. Anniversary wishes to my husband and I (Steve and Karen Ballok) as we celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary on Oct. 31st, yes Halloween! Looking forward to the next 40!


There will be a Kincardine council meeting Wednesday, Nov. 5, regarding the Notice of Application of Legal proceedings by Kincardine Pipeline Promise Association. Concerned citizens should make a point of attending. This will still be the previous council since the new council will not be in place until December.
