The Joint Review Panel, into Ontario Power Generation (OPG)'s proposed Deep Geologic Repository (DGR) into low- and intermediate level nuclear waste at the Bruce site in Kincardine, has scheduled additional public hearing dates, beginning Sept. 9 at the Kincardine Legion.
To assist participants in preparing for these additional public hearing days. the Secretariat indicates the following:
On May 30, 2014, following the submission of its last information request response, OPG provided an updated consolidated table of responses to the Joint Review Panel Information Requests Packages 12, 12a, 12b, and 13. The document is bookmarked for each information request package and it is available on the Canadian Environmental Assessment Registry Internet site (the registry), at http://www.ceaa-acee.gc.ca/050/documents/p17520/99190E.pdf
OPG has also provided an annotated version of Chapter 4 (Description of the Project for EA Purposes) of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). This annotated version of Chapter 4 includes and cross-references the updates, clarifications and additional information that OPG has provided to the panel to date. The annotated version of EIS Chapter 4 (Description of the Project for EA Purposes) can be accessed at on the registry at http://www.ceaa-acee.gc.ca/050/documents/p17520/99376E.pdf.
An updated OPG DGR Project Consolidated Commitment Lists report, which includes commitments in relation to the panelís Information Request Package #13, has been received by the panel and is now available on the registry at http://www.ceaa-acee.gc.ca/050/documents/p17520/99378E.pdf.
Submissions received and documents generated by the panel throughout the review are available on the registry under reference number 17520.
