Town Staff makes a clean sweep during Earth Week

Two town Directors, Bill Jones (R) and Mike Myatt search the streets for litter

The offices of Saugeen Town were closed on Friday afternoon but the staff were seen everywhere outside the building.

As part of 'Clean Sweep, part of Earth Week, staff got out and cleaned up refuse around the entire Plex administration and sports complex.

"It's hard to believe the amount of garbage that is  being tossed," said Mike Myatt, Director of Community Services.  "We've only been picking up around the building and have found contractors' buckets, tin cans and everything else imagineable."
