Manor Musings

It’s been a busy winter at the Manor. We’ve had many new tenants and sadly have had a few pass away. Our newest residents are a pair of Indigo ducks we have in our courtyard and a pair of piglets. The residents have named the ducks Adam and Eve and the piglets Porgy and Bess. The ducks feel comfortable enough to be fed from our hands and have shown their thanks with eggs. Some of our residents have gone high-tech using the computer to keep in contact with distant relatives. South Bruce OPP constable Kevin Martin, community services officer, came in to give the residents information about frauds against seniors, and at the end of the month the residents will be touring the new OPP facility in Kincardine.
