May is Crop Share month at Knox Presbyterian Church with the kick-off on Sunday, May 2. Guest speaker will be Kathryn Maybury. Service begins at 10:30 a.m. with a lunch to follow. The Tiverton Friendly Folk are hosting a euchre at the Lions Hall on April 27 at 1:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Sympathy is extended to the family of the late Jean Campbell. Jean was the lovely wife of the handsome Norm Campbell and a prominent member at most camp-outs in the area. A group of travellers went to the Dominican Republic to help continue the celebration of Heather Convay’s 40th and Kenny Brown’s 50th birthdays. The group included Doug and Heather, Kenny and Kelly Brown, Dennis and Jo Ann Todd, Christi Broderick, Dave Bonnett, Bill and Chrystal Campbell, Doc Roppel, Carolyn Hamilton, Glenn and Tracey MacDonnell, Bill and Nancy Young, Corey and Ashley Brown, Shelley Roberts, Sandy MacDonald, Al and Jeff Reutz, Mark Ruthven, Stephanie Young, Matt Stanley, Tyler Brown, Sheri Clunas, Chris and Kate Smith and Dee Dee Labonte. While down there, Carolyn Hamilton and Shelley Roberts celebrated their birthdays. |
Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton, will be holding a rummage sale
Thursday, April 22, from 1-7 p.m., and Friday, April 23, from 10 a.m.
to noon. Articles of clothing, shoes, and linens for the sale may be
brought to the church on Monday, April 19, and Tuesday, April 20, only.
