KDSS trio gets top Provincial honours |

On April 24th, three people from Bluewater School District traveled to London to attend the Ontario Federation of Home and School (OFHSA)Conference's Annual General Meeting Awards Banquet. Grade 9 student, Judith Gutter, was the winner of OFHSA's Provincial Citizenship Award, Michelle Taylor, Science and French Teacher at Kincardine District Secondary School (KDSS) was recipient of Teacher of the Year and Jen Taylor in Grade 11 won OFHSA's Provincial Citizenship Award. Michelle and Jen Taylor are mother and daughter and this is the first time in OFHSA's history that a mother-daughter duo has won the OFHSA provincial honours in the same year. |
These winners along with several other award nominees will be recognized
at an Awards Celebration being held in the KDSS library Wed. June 2,
2010 at 7:00 p.m.
