THE SHEEP Moose and Dolly were dipping sheep Protecting them from pests A shiny car rolls up to the pens And slowly
comes to rest A bright young fella climbs out Gives them a big warm smile I saw you from the highway Mind if I visit
a while He glanced at the sheep in the pens Waves a hundred dollar bill Bet I know how many there are Ya wanna bet
for the thrill? We ain't got no money. sez Dolly How 'bout we bet a sheep? Ok, sez the smart young kid Ninety eight.
Count 'em and weep Good lord, ya right, sez Dolly Guess we just lost a sheep Moose shook his head and muttered Who are you,
Little Bo Peep? It wasn't a trick, sez the whiz kid I know the size of the beast. How many fit in a pen? I asked Forty nine at
least Get your sheep. grunts Moose The whiz kid made his pick Good choice. Big Moose added As the guy
grabs one up real quick Double or nothing? sez Moose Ain't finished betting yet I don't mind, sez the kid Precisely what
is the bet? I bet, sez Moose, I can tell you What you studied at college What you do for a living And the extent
of your knowledge Got yourself a bet. sez the kid Hugging his sheep in his arms Ya work for Government, sez Moose Your specialty
is farms You went to Agricultural School Majored in Farm Economics So brilliant in the classroom Spent half your
time reading comics How do you know? sez the kid His ego collapsed in a heap Put down the dog and I'll tell ya., sez Moose He's supposed to be minding the sheep |
