MAN STILL MISSING AFTER DAY’S SEARCH

Bruce Peninsula OPP continues to search for an elderly man after he went missing from the Golden Dawn Nursing Home in Lions Head.  The man was last seen at noon Saturday June 19th.  An immediate search of the facility and area did not locate the man and police were called.  Bruce Peninsula OPP with the assistance of the West Region Emergency Response team, the OPP helicopter and 60 local volunteers searched into the night Saturday but the man was not found.

Missing is Clayton McKague, a life long resident of Lions Head.  McKague, age seventy-one, is described as 5ft. 8in. tall, brown grey hair combed over, frail build and walked with a stoop.  He was wearing a burgundy golf shirt and track pants with a stripe down the leg and black shoes.

Police will continue the search Sunday and are asking any volunteers who are willing to help to meet at the fire hall in Lions Head at 9:00 am.  Volunteers should come with drinking water and be prepared to search wooded areas wearing appropriate footwear and clothing.
