COTTAGE BREAK-IN REPORTED
(NORTHERN BRUCE PENINSULA, ON.) – A cottage on Spry Rd. was reported entered to police sometime between May 25th and June 7th.  The cottage in the 700 block was entered by kicking in a rear door.  The owner of the cottage has been notified and will attend to determine if anything is missing.

PURSE CONTAINING DANGEROUS MEDICATION LOST
(SAUGEEN FIRST NATION, ON.) – A purse was reported lost to Bruce Peninsula OPP and the owner advises it contains medication which may be dangerous if ingested.  The owner believes the handbag was lost between Thompson Ave. and Scotch Settlement Rd. sometime on June 3rd.  The purse is describes as a small backpack style, black in colour with 2 straps.  If anyone has located this item please call the OPP.

MAN CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL HARASSMENT  
(TOBERMORY, ON.) An Owen Sound man was arrested by Owen Sound Police Service in the early morning hours of June 7th and then turned over to Bruce Peninsula OPP.  The 41-year-old was processed and held for a Bail Hearing later in the morning charged with one count of Criminal Harassment.  The charge stemmed from ongoing unwanted communications with a former girlfriend. The man was released and will make his next court appearance in Owen Sound Court on July 15th.

 

PUT DOWN THOSE CELL PHONES
(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON.) – A 21-year-old Brantford woman will be paying fines after she was observed by a Bruce Peninsula OPP officer Monday evening speeding while talking on a cell phone.  The woman was stopped and issued offence notices for both offences.
