IMPAIRED DRIVER
(South Bruce Peninsula, On.) – A 19-year-old Wellesley man will appear
in Owen Sound Court facing drinking and driving charges. A vehicle was
observed travelling at a high rate of speed on Bruce Rd. 8 shortly after
midnight Wednesday morning. The car was stopped and the driver was found
to have been drinking. The young man was arrested and provided breath
samples at detachment over the legal limit.
Brent DOHERTY will appear July 15th, 2010 facing the drinking and
driving charges as well as a charge of racing.
THREE DAY DRIVERS LICENCE SUSPENSION
A London man had his drivers licence suspended for three days after
police stopped him leaving the boat ramp on Burma Rd., Northern Bruce
Peninsula. Police received information that a boater had been observed
drinking on his vessel at that location and just as police arrived to
investigate the man was leaving with his boat in tow. Fortunately a
sober friend was able to remove the vehicle and boat from the scene.
