Lynn Receives alPHa Distinguished Service Award |

It is with great pleasure that the Board of Health for the Grey Bruce Health Unit recognize Medical Officer of Health, Hazel Lynn, as recipient of the 2010 Distinguished Service Award presented by the Association of Local Public Health Agencies (alPHa). The award recognizes significant contributions to public health at the provincial level.
Dr. Hazel Lynn receives alPHa 2010 Distinguished Service Award from Council of Ontario Medical Officers of Health Chair, Dr. Paul Roumeliotis. The nomination, submitted and supported by Board of Health members, describes Dr. Lynn’s exemplary leadership and dedication in supporting and moving forward with many innovative and noteworthy public health initiatives both locally and province-wide. At their meeting May 17, the alPHa Executive Committee members unanimously agreed and endorsed the nomination. The 2010 Distinguished Service Award was presented to Dr. Lynn, Monday, June 21, at the alPHa Awards Dinner in conjunction with the alPHa Annual General Meeting and Conference underway in Cornwall, Ontario. |
