A good crowd turned out for the Seniors Health and Wellness Fair held at Trillium Court Wednesday (June 2).

Twenty-three businesses,  groups and organizations were on hand to talk about products and services available to seniors whether they live at home or in a retirement residence.

Ann Thomas, a registered physiotherapist and certified instructor, of Walking Pole Wellness in Owen Sound, had people try out the poles. This exercise uses 90 per cent of the body's muscles; improves balance and walking confidence, upright posture, strength and endurance, heart and lung function, and flexibility; and reduces stress on the spine, hips and knees.

Pamela Lees and Carol Cook of the Kincardine Holistic Health Centre were conducting "Body Talk" sessions with individuals to give them a complete feeling of well-being.
