The Kincardine District Secondary School music classes had a chance to shine at the "Spring into Music" concert held Friday night at the school cafeteria.

The Grade 9 guitar class performed "Every Breath You Take," 'All My Loving" and "Dust in the Wind."

The Grades 11/12 guitar class played "Blackbird" and "Time of Your Life."

The KDSS choir sang "Don't Stop Believing" and "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go."

From there, the focus was on the Grade 10 music class as individuals and groups performed the following pieces:

• "My Heart Will Go On" - Janine Van Veghel on piano
• "Reflection" - Celina King on tenor saxophone
• "I Dream a Dream" - Amber Finney singing, and Brandon Finney on piano
• "This Is Me" - Celina King, Nathan Clark and Ashley Middlekamp singing
• "You're the One That I Want" - Kristen MacLennan and Jessica Gallant singing
• "Stand By Me" - Nathan Clark singing
• "Beethoven Duet No. 1" - Christiane Ritter on flute and teacher Aneta White on clarinet
• "We Are The World" - Jessica Winterburn, Amber Finney and Rachel Karsten singing
• "Colours of the Wind" - Meagan McDonald and Josh Bisnauth on alto saxophone
• "Never Understand" - original song - Jessica Winterburn on vocals and guitar
• "Forever and Always" - Jessica Winterburn and Jocelyn Leidy singing
• "Come in with the Rain" - Courtney Blanchard singing, Jocelyn Leidy on guitar, and Andreas Derksen on drums
• "Waiting" - original song - Johnathan Whitney on guitar and Hilary Alderdice singing
• "Man, I Feel Like A Woman" - Kristen MacLennan and Jessica Gallant singing
• "Wonderwall" and "Tomorrow" - original song - Amber Lang, Jocelyn Leidy on guitar and vocals, and Andreas Derksen on drums
• "Hotel California" - Johnathan Whitney on guitar, Andreas Derksen on drums, Chris Bianco on bass guitar, and Hilary Alderdice and Courtney Blanchard singing
