A Kincardine woman no longer faces charges in connection to a drug theft from the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine Hospital pharmacy.

Deanna Lachlan, 47, was charged after a quantity of drugs, including oxytocin and percocets, went missing in December.

The Crown withdrew the charges because Lachlan has reportedly completed an alternative justice program and received counseling.

Policies have been changed at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, as well as the locks to the pharmacy and the number of key holders, because of the theft.
