CATERING COORDINATOR

The Legion is accepting applications for the position of Catering Coordinator.  The Catering Coordinator would be responsible for the operation of the catering and banquet operations at the Legion, and shall include the following duties: 
 
  • Meet with clients/customers to determine meal and banquet requirements
  • Provide a list of menu options and choices (updated by the coordinator as required)
  • Complete the catering contract between the Legion and the customer
  • Order required food, and review/approve food invoices as required
  • Recruit and train volunteers for help in the kitchen, serving, and clean-up
  • Work with Head Chef to ensure clear communications and smooth service
  • Advise supervisor of any suggestions concerning banquet/catering service pricing
  • Complete a quarterly food inventory, including bar-served fast food.

 Fee for service is to be negotiated.  This position is open to Legion members and non-members alike.
