HOME UNDER CONSTRUCTION VANDALIZED (KINCARDINE, ON.) – On June 28th, 2010 at 8:46 am, the South Bruce OPP received a report of vandalism at the site of a new house being built on Gregg’s Trail in Huron Township. Sometime between Friday June 25th at 4:00 pm and Monday June 28th at 8:00 am, unknown person(s) entered the structure to cause damage. The list of damaged items includes bent copper pipe, bent abs pipe, furnace ductwork bent and removed, Insulboard damaged and a dented exterior door. The cost of the damage is still being determined. Anyone having information that can assist Police with investigations is asked to call South Bruce OPP at 519-396-3341 (Kincardine), 519-881-3130 (Walkerton) or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222 -TIPS (8477). OPP Dispatch – 1-888-310-1122 JOYRIDE RESULTS IN COURT DATE (KINCARDINE, ON.) – On June 27th, 2010 at 12:13 pm, the South Bruce OPP received a complaint of “take motor vehicle without consent”. Officers located the missing pickup truck in the village of Paisley. The driver initially refused to stop, then chose to stop at a residence along Church Street in Paisley. After stopping the truck, the male driver fought with police. An on duty OPP officer was treated at the Walkerton hospital for minor injuries and released. 46 year old William Tooke of Paisley is charged with Flight from police, Assault police, Obstruct Police and Possession of a Controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on July 26th, 2010 to answer to the charges.
