The Cripple Creek Cloggers had a great weekend in Dundalk where Rose Marie Young and Anne
McBride took five teams. They brought home four championships and a second-place finish. 

The nine and under Canadian Clogging Championship went to Bradley Robertson, Alex Convay, Jason Convay, Dan Coenen, Mac Coenen and Luke McBride. 

The 10-13 Canadian Clogging Championship went to Dana Craig, Shannon Ross, Claire Coenen and Jaden Shelton. 

The 14–18 Canadian Clogging Championship
went to MacKenna Johnston, Katy Franklin, Kirsten Walden, Olivia Convay, Julia Convay, Danielle
McBride, Lily Freiburger, Kaitlyn MacKinnon, and Morgan Robertson. 

The Canadian Traditional Clogging Championship went to Amy Young, Jaclyn McBride, Brittany Quipp and Colleen Craig. 

14 to 18

Community news

Congratulations to Bob Young and Julie Clazie who were married on June 23 in Las Vegas. Attending
the wedding were Jane and Harry Van Dam and Catherine and Kitt Elmes. Prior to their marriage, Bob and Julie were entertained by "Elvis" at a party hosted by Kathleen Young.

Kelly Christman of Bassano, Alberta, the daughter of Edna Young, visited with her Young relatives this past week.

Two big birthdays this week: Dan (Tiger) Williams and Michelle Lamont who both turned 50.

The Knox Presbyterian Church Annual Salad Supper (with homemade pies) will be held on Tuesday, July 13, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre. Cost is $12 for adults, $5 for children aged 12 and under, and free for children aged five and under. Come out for a great meal and great company.

Park in Inverhuron on Sat. July 3, at 8:30 a.m.
