Now, wasn't that a rain to send everything to overflow? We would expect this in the springtime but not the middle of June. Makes things a lot stickier to be sure.
 
Congratulations to all the folks in Lucknow for putting on a great Strawberry Festival despite the rain.  

Congrats to St. Andrew's United Church congregation for putting on a great ham supper on Sunday.

The Ripley and District Horticultural Society sponsored a tour of gardens in Ripley and Point Clark that was a rousing success. Lots of good ideas for everyone to take home for their place.

Freida Owens of London visited with Bette MacLeod and treated her to lunch recently. Monday, Alaire and Andrea Ballint of Smithville visited, and on Wednesday, Jim Reid of Dungannon spent an entertaining visit with Bette.

Bette MacLeod enjoyed touring the gardens in Point Clark hosted on Wednesday as well. Donalda Pollard and Bette visited with Marg Armstrong in Ripley.
 
Cheryl Bridge attended a bridal shower for Courtney McArthur, fiancee of Michael Bridge on Sunday. Cheryl also spent a few days in Owen Sound with her mother, Audrey Rivett of Dungannon, and Wendy Hooisma of Hanover.
