Bike Rodeos at local schools

Hepworth Central Public School

Once again the Town of South Bruce Peninsula Community Policing Committee has been busy conducting bike rodeos at local schools.

The third rodeo was at Hepworth Central Public School with the winners receiving medals for their cycling abilities.  The rodeo involves numerous stations which test their bike handling abilities as well as an intersection station where they must use their hand signals and knowledge of traffic rules to navigate the test track.

Sponsors for the event were Fritz’ Valuemart in Sauble Beach, Wiarton Foodland the Royal Bank Sauble Beach Branch and the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

Amabel Sauble Community School
