At Saugeen Shores Town Council meeting on Monday, July 12,  a proposed new logo was presented for approval.

The new logo, designed by Brad Smith, when approved will be incorporated on all items related to the Town. 

Although there are common elements between the general overall Saugeen Shores logo and the individual Port Elgin and Southampton logos, colours were of concern to Councilor Diane Huber.

"I would like to see a little more continuity in the colours," said Huber, 'and also the script type and colour."

A decision regarding the final town logos is yet to be made.
