ANOTHER IMPAIRED DRIVER FACING DAY IN COURT (KINCARDINE, ON.) – On July 10th, 2010 at 11:10 pm, the South Bruce OPP conducted a vehicle stop on the South Line in Kincardine Township. The male driver was found to have been drinking alcohol. 18 year old Jedidiah Blake of Kincardine Township is charged with Operate Over 80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on August 23rd, 2010 to answer to the charge. The South Bruce OPP are reminding all drivers that there is no excuse for Impaired Driving. “If you’re going to be drinking alcohol, make sure you have a safe way to get home, choose to Arrive Alive”. OPEN ALCOHOL AT RIDE CHECKPOINT (KINCARDINE, ON.) – On July 10th, 2010 at 12:00 am, members of the South Bruce OPP set up a RIDE checkpoint on County Road 10 in Brant Township. A vehicle stopped at the RIDE and officers found a passenger with open alcohol. The vehicle was searched and all the alcohol was removed before the driver left the checkpoint. 23 year old John Walker of Grimsby is charged with Have liquor in open container in other than licenced premises, residence or private place.
