Cham-bettes continue to raise funds

The Cham-bettes volunteer their time at their annual bake/garage sale ... the painting in the background, donated by Betty Bender (4th from rt.), is being held aloft by the 'Mystery Man - M.M." who purchased it

The Cham-bettes held yet another fundraiser on the first weekend in July, recognized locally as the kick-off to summer.

The bake and garage sale was held in Port Elgin at the historic Ashdown house on Mill Street.

The volunteer group of professional women from throughout the community continue to raise funds for community projects such as Community Band initiatives and the local Southampton Memorial Hospital.
