Absolutely not! Selling would cause numerous
persons to loose their jobs, service would likely be outsourced
to another province or country. Bruce Telecom continues to
provide good income to the municipality on a yearly basis. |
|
Absolutely not. Bruce Telecom contributes to the
community. |
|
Absolutely not. Town council present & future
will only deplete money from sale, the same as they do with the
reserve funds & leave us with nothing. If we continue to own it,
we will always share an income. |
|
Bruce Telecom has lost a number of
CEOs and CFOs in a short period of time. This is not a
good sign They are in a business that requires large
amounts of capital to stay current. It's a dangerous
position for Kincardine. Council has no experience
managing a high technology business |
|
All my friends and family have bmts email
addresses and internet even if we live outside of Bruce County.
Shame on you for even suggesting this!!!- It's one of the few
local companies left! |
|
Another provider is only looking at a profit.
Bruce Telecom is looking to serve the community. |
|
As long as the council don't get to
greedy, it should be a nice income and maybe help keep our taxes
in check |
|
Bruce Telecom has been apart of Kincardine's
history for a long time. Why take away from the history of
Kincardine and the employees that work there. Just to save a
buck!! |
|
Bruce Telecom is lagging behind others and
losing ground each year as evidenced by the loss of dividend to
- Kincardine. We should cut our losses and get out of the
telecom business. |
|
Bruce Telecom subsidizes fees paid to the
municipality and provides an alternative business for the area.
Bell Canada is not a business for a close community. We want
quality communications service that we receive from only Bruce
Telecom. |
|
Bruce Telecom should stay as part of Bruce
Township who in turn comes under Municipality of Kincardine-
