Visiting at the home of Jim and Fran Farrell recently were Christine Van de Sype and Tyson of Guelph, Bruce and Kathy Aitken and Luke Scott and Desiree of Bracebridge.

In the last week of June, Ripley 4-H junior club members Stan ter Woerds and Manuel and Marcel Inauen attended with leader Alex Martin the Junior 4-H Show in Woodstock, and on July 8 and 9, senior members Daniel and Grant Martin attended the Gencor West Challenge in Stratford.

Congratulations to Gary Moulton and Melanie Elphick who were married Saturday, July 10.

The Purple Grove Women’s Institute attended the play “Country Legends” in Grand Bend on Friday.

The Doug MacDonald family took part in the MacDonald family picnic held at the Lions Park in Point Clark recently.

Courtney McCulloch of Lethbridge, Alberta, is spending some time with her family, Andrew and Dianne MacDonald.

 

Purple Grove sends its congratulations to Jason Murray, son of Paul and Carrie Murray, who was recently accepted into the medical program at the University of Western Ontario.

A little bird told us it was so hot last week that Carrie Murray had to add COLD water to her pool!!
