DRIVER INJURED IN PICKUP TRUCK ROLLOVER (KINCARDINE, ON.) – On July 22, 2010 at 9:43 am, the South Bruce OPP were called to the scene of a pickup truck rollover on Lake Range Drive in Huron Township. The driver was northbound on Lake Range Drive when the truck left the roadway and rolled over before coming to rest in the ditch. The female driver was taken by ambulance to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Kincardine for treatment of non life threatening injuries

BUSINESS OWNER ASSAULTED DURING CITIZEN’S
ARREST (SAUBLE BEACH, ON.) – A Sauble Beach business owner was assaulted while trying to prevent a man from leaving his place of business Wednesday evening. Bruce Peninsula OPP was called to a Lakeshore Blvd. business in Sauble at about 9:45 PM after receiving information that a business owner had detained a young man for damaging property. As police were heading to the location they received information that another man had helped free his friend and had left the scene. With the help of the business owner the two men were located. Officers arrested two men, a 26-year-old from Port Elgin who is charged with assault and a 27-year-old Southampton man who faces an assault and mischief charge. Both men were released to attend Owen Sound Court on August 26th, 2010.
