If you want a ticket to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation's hospital lottery, you better buy it now before they're all gone.

Foundation co-ordinator Diane Baldwin says that half the 1,500 tickets have been sold over the two months since they were made available.

There are $80,000 in prizes to be won, with the grand prize a 2010 red Ford Mustang convertible worth $35,729.

Tickets are $100 each or three for $250, and they can be purchased at the foundation office by cash, cheque or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). They are also available at Meridian Credit Union, Jerome Flowers, the Co-operators and Malcolm Place by cash or cheque only.

You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a ticket and participate in the draw.

An Early Bird Draw will be held Sept. 9, with 75 tickets drawn - each winning $100.
The main draw will be Oct. 16. Besides the grand prize Mustang convertible, there are plenty of cash prizes to be won, as well as gift certificates from local businesses.

All proceeds go toward a Bone Mineral Density machine for the Kincardine hospital site. Baldwin says this is a very important purchase in order to keep this service in Kincardine.
