The Propeller Club that operates tours to Chantry Island Lighthouse in Southampton recently recognized the contribution that the local CIBC has made to the organization with four tour tickets to the Island.

The Club, made up entirely of volunteers, initiated the renovation of Chantry Island which had fallen into disrepair over several years and, today, maintains the island with its Lighthouse Keeper's Quarters, the Imperial lighthouse and the surrounding gardens.

Each summer, from June through September, hundreds of visitors tour the island that is also now a recognized and government dedicated Wildlife Bird Sanctuary for thousands of migratory birds.
