Rogers Communications has purchased Kincardine Cable TV, but has no changes planned for employees or customers.

Sara Holland, communications manager for the Western Region of Rogers, made the announcement yesterday (Aug. 5).

"As a family-owned company with deep Ontario roots, we are committed to continuing our proud tradition of serving local communities and bringing Rogers reliability and innovative technologies to customers," she said.

"We understand that customers value reliable communications and entertainment, and we will continue to provide the community of Kincardine with an extended selection of full service solutions that deliver simplicity, quality and value."

Owned by Bryan Walden, Kincardine Cable has served Kincardine and area for many years, and has about a dozen employees.
