The Bluewater Summer Playhouse continues its successful season with “Funny Business,” a musical comedy about office drama! Written by
Daniel Falk and Rachel Brittain with music and lyrics by Daniel Abrahamson,
this sexy multi-media musical romp opened to critical acclaim at the 2007
Toronto Fringe Festival. It received critical acclaim from the Toronto Star (3.5 out of 4 stars), NOW
Magazine (5 stars) and Eye Weekly (4 stars). When low morale threatens their branch, five office workers must mount a team-building fashion show to save their jobs. Meet
the bumbling Middle Manager, nerdy Intern, the perky Receptionist, the
shark-like Sales Guy, and the tough-as-nails Marketing Executives as
they try
to keep the show together without tearing each other apart! Get into
the team-building spirit with songs, such as "It's My First Day”,
“Bottom Line”,
and the show-stopping number that will have you screaming, “You Can’t
Fire Me,
I Quit!” Along with the dynamic cast, the Bluewater
Summer Playhouse would like to welcome back cast member and Kincardine native
Kevin McGarry. The show opens Aug. 17 and runs through to Aug. 20 at the
Kincardine Arts Centre. For
tickets, call the Box Office at 519-396-5722 or E-mail boxoffice@bluewatersp.on.ca
