We need your help to work this Rotary fundraising event and/or bring cakes, baked goods or sweet for the cake wheel. As well as solicit friends and family to do the same. Volunteer hours can also be given to high school students. If you have kids, grandkids and have or will use the playground and gardens located at the Jubilee park in Southampton, we ask that you please help support this popular and traditional old-fashioned beach carnival! We are meeting at the main beach in Port Elgin at 6:30 p.m., and the event begins at 7:00 p.m. It will finish no later than 9:00 p.m. WANT TO DONATE AN ITEM? If you want to donate am item for the Cake Wheel, call 519 832-5512 (answering machine) Items can also be dropped off anytime Friday above Re/Max Realty in Port Elgin (back entrance, 1st set of stairs to 2nd floor, yellow siding with deck, across from Allan's Fireside Grill Parking Lot)

WHY? The last carnival on July 30th raised just over $700.00, and we hope to beat that amount. We have to raise $10,000 to reach our $350,000 goal for this community project.
