Bruce County Museum presents 'Glorious Wood' art exhibit

The Shoreline Artists held the opening of its unusual art exhibit, 'Glorious Wood' at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre on Saturday, August 21st.

The Artists' group, made up of individual local artists working in a wide variety of mediums is now in its 23rd year and holds several shows throughout the summer, including, 'Art on the Fence' in Southampton, the Sauble Beach Community Centre Art Show and the Shoreline Artists' Tour.

'Glorious Wood' is a unique exhibit that permitted each Shoreline Artist to submit three pieces of art with the only criteria being, they all had to relate in some way to wood.

'The Perfect Tree' by Barbara Bingham is a new technique of photography on canvas that the artist is exploring

An exquisite 'burl bowl' by Tom Stewart of Southampton revealed an unusual natural pattern of a bird and fish in the wood
