I agree with Anita's comments in her article on the Dunes.

Our family used to have a family cottage in that area; it was sold when the father died in late 1980's and we bought a place in town but we still return there for  beach times.

The activities she mentions have been ongoing for years.  I used to phone (the police) but no one ever came. Perhaps there should be a patrol assigned for part of every weekend at night.

Some grooming of the dunes should also be done as Anita suggested to educate the public and present a dune area worthy of the respect they deserve.
