Twenty-two antique and unique vehicles were on hand at the first car show, hosted by Tiverton Park Manor last night (Aug. 25). A good crowd of residents, guests and car enthusiasts turned out for the event which included a barbecue and local talent, with music supplied by myFM Radio. Among the cars was a 1972 Pontiac Catalina, owned by David and Carol Little of Point Clark and a 1955 Ford Sunliner, owned by Garry and Janet Robertson of Cambridge. Blake Evans brought the 1930 Ford Model A Tudor car that his grandfather bought brand new. The car has been restored right down to the original two-tone green colour. "I drove this car for the first time when I was 12 years old," he recalled. "I drove it through the fields shooting groundhogs." The car was built at Ford, Ontario, which is now Windsor.
