The members split up into different groups as they toured the zoo, each accompanied by a parent volunteer. The Disectagons saw all different kinds of animals, including polar bears and red pandas, and learned many interesting things. For example, Ken’s group learned that the Massasauga Rattlesnake is the only poisonous snake that lives in our area. A few members even went to the stingray exhibit and had a chance to pet the stingrays. The next meeting will be held Aug. 25 when the club members will present their projects.
