"We've got a good thing growing" at Kincardine Fall Fair

This year's Kincardine Fall Fair offers plenty of fun and family entertainment on the Labour Day Weekend, Friday to Saturday, Sept. 3-4.

One of the highlights of the fair is the Fun Dog Show which runs Friday night, 6:30-7:45 p.m. at Connaught Park.

Saturday, the gates open at 9 a.m. with lots of events and activities to enjoy:

  • The Saddle Horse competition begins at 8:30 a.m. 
  • The pavilion of displays and exhibits opens at 9:30 a.m.
  • The 4-H Dairy and Beef Achievement Day begins at 10 a.m.
  • The 4-H Beef Invitational runs at 11 a.m.
  • The parade begins at 11:30 a.m. at Victoria Park
  • Cattle judging starts at 1 p.m.
  • The pedal tractor pull begins at 1 p.m.
  • Bale rolling and throwing starts at 1:30 p.m.
  • The quilt draw will be held at 3 p.m.

Musical entertainment will run throughout the afternoon including Steve Baker of Baker Magic Shows presenting "Charmer - A Gypsy Magic Show;" and the Black Family providing music and dance.
