Hospital lottery tickets almost 60-per-cent sold |

The Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation has sold almost 60 per cent of the 1,500 tickets available in its first-ever hospital lottery. The grand prize is a 2010 red Ford Mustang convertible, with a retail value of $35,729. There are also a bevy of other great items available, including cash prizes and gift certificates from local merchants. A sales blitz of the lottery tickets is being held today (Aug. 27) at Jerome Flowers in downtown Kincardine, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets will also be on sale at the Massed Band event in Victoria Park on Saturday. Tickets are available at Meridian Credit Union, Jerome Flowers, Co-operators and Malcolm Place -
cash or cheque only. Tickets are also available by Visa, Mastercard, cash or cheque at the hospital foundation office, or by calling 519-396-3331, Ext. 342, until the tickets are sold out. The early bird draw is Sept. 9 at 2 p.m., at the hospital
foundation office. There will be 75 $100-prizes drawn. Proceeds from the lottery and the radiothon go toward the bone mineral density machine needed at the Kincardine hospital. |
