The year-end tournament for Tiverton Ladies Ball was held on the weekend with Team 4, The Green Team, winning over Team 5, The Chiclets, for the Championship. The Green Team consisted of Becky Catto,  Cassandra Cormier, Leanne Gowing, Brianna Husk, Deb Kraft, Alison and Amanda Lawrence, Jackie Nesbitt, Tammy Page, Mary Schmidt, Paula Turner, and Kelsey Young. 

For the Consolation, Team 2 won over Team 1. Team 2 consisted of Angela Albright, Nancy Craig, Janis Creeded, Emma Darling, Cheryl Jedemann, Ashley Ladd, Cayley MacDonald, Lisa Robertson-Taylor, Betty Teat, Lori Templeton and Lillian Watterworth. 

The Ladies Ball league gave retiring umpire Guy Martin a plaque for his dedication over the past 25 years. Best wishes to Kelly Brown as she hobbles on crutches after suffering an injury at second base.

Also in community news, get well wishes to Ernie Young as he is recovering at home.
