First annual myFM Film Festival a success |

The numbers are still being crunched but, by all accounts, the first annual Kincardine myFM Film Festival was a success. Rob Mise, general manager of myFM Radio in Kincardine said proceeds from the event will be donated to this year's charity, Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario. "We've received so many enthusiastic responses," said Mise. "Yes, we will be back next year - bigger and better. We could not have done it without the theatre-goers, sponsors, volunteers and the myFM staff." If you are interested in volunteering for next year's film festival, E-mail: filmfest@myfmradio.ca This year's event featured shows at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday night (Sept. 10-11) at $8/show, plus free children's shows Sunday afternoon (Sept. 12).
