The Mushball tournament this weekend found 20 teams battling it out in four divisions.

Shelley Gauthier’s team, featuring Joey Haist and the Piper clan, took the title in the A division against the Kindians. The Young Bucks won the B division against We Hit Hard. And the Craigs won the C division against Balls Deep. 

Special mention goes out to the lightning fast Danny Norman who managed an infield home-run, and the star of the tournament was Katelyn Young for her fantastic backwards catch.

Happy birthday to Sheila Robertson who turned 70 years young, and Happy Anniversary to Kevin and Kerri Hayes.

Get your bale displays up and your babysitters booked for the upcoming fall fair on Oct. 1-2. There are fair books at the local businesses so now is the time to be working on your exhibits.
